Kodak Black dropped an album, Back For Everything. Here’s how he used Laylo to drive up his first day streams.
Leading up to the album, he created a drop page where fans could easily sign up to get a reminder when it dropped.
In addition to the drop page, fans signed up via his IG story.
It was easy. After they responded to his story with “RSVP,” they were automatically registered to receive a DM once the album dropped.
All that Kodak had to do was create the drop, connect his Instagram business account and pre-load the drop day messages with the link.
With a simple post, Kodak built a list with tens of thousands signups and millions of streams for the album.
