By connecting your tracking pixels, you can set up ads that retarget fans who have visited your pages, or create Lookalike Audiences.
Step 1 — Setting up pixels
Make sure you have pixels set up on the platforms you would like to run ads on.
💡 If you're managing Facebook Pixels, please read Meta's guide on how to set up traffic permissions.
Step 2 — Integration settings
On Laylo, go to Settings → Integrations and add the tracking pixels from Facebook, Google and TikTok.
Step 3 — Confirm the event isn't blocked
While inside the Meta platform, select the appropriate Meta pixel and then go to the Settings page. Scroll down and look for the manage events blocking button. When you click it, a modal will pop up. If the DropRSVP and page_view events are described as blocked, follow the instructions in the modal to unblock them.

Step 4 — Pixel helper
Use Facebook's and TikTok's pixel helper extensions to make sure the pixels are set up properly.

Step 5 — Conversion API (optional)
Sometimes a visitor to your Drop will be using an ad blocker. To capture all of your conversion events, we suggest adding a Conversion API token to Laylo. This lets events continue to reach your own pixel.
Log in to your Meta Events Manager account.
Go to Data Sources → select your pixel → Settings.
Scroll to Set up direct integration.
Generate an access token and copy it.
Go to your Laylo integration settings, scroll to Tracking pixels, and paste it into the Meta Conversion API Token field.
Save.
After saving, you should be set up to receive more events from your Drops.

✅ Conversion tracking: Laylo uses a custom conversion event called DropRSVP for each successful fan opt-in.
Troubleshooting tips
1. Use Facebook's and TikTok's pixel helper extensions to confirm the pixel is loading on your Drop.
2. Laylo does not track pixel events from logged-in Laylo admins. For testing, log out or use an incognito tab, then complete the RSVP.
3. Nothing fires until a fan completes an RSVP. Our opt-in form consolidates cookie consent into the RSVP click, so fans never see a separate cookie pop-up. Page views are held until that click, then sent along with the conversion. Loading the page on its own will show the pixel as connected but send zero events.
4. The conversion event we send is a custom event called DropRSVP. For testing, complete an RSVP with your email, then check your pixel helper.
5. TikTok: custom events cannot be used as a campaign optimization goal. DropRSVP works for reporting and for building retargeting audiences. To optimize a campaign, use TikTok's Event Builder to define a click-based event on your Drop page.
6. Server-side tracking is Meta only today (see Step 5 above). TikTok and Google are browser pixel only.
7. Still stuck? Try the same setup on another Laylo account to see if it repeats.
