It's easy to compose, segment and schedule targeted messages to your fanbase using Laylo.

How to broadcast messages to your fans

Choose the Messaging tab.

Selecting who to send to

When you broadcast a message, you can segment which fans will receive it. You have the option to filter by:

  • Enriched segments

    • Engaged Fans — people who've interacted with you recently

    • Ticket Buyers — based on activity across the Laylo ecosystem and connected storefronts

    • Merch Buyers — based on activity across the Laylo ecosystem and connected storefronts

    • Music Listeners — fans who've connected Spotify

    • Notable Fans — followers with 5K+ on Instagram

  • Location — choose to message fans in a specific city, state or country. For example, you can notify fans within a 50-mile radius of Los Angeles about your upcoming show or drop.

  • Drops — send messages to fans who RSVP'd to specific drops.

  • Drop segments — a segment created based on a drop, where you can select random signups, first RSVPs, or highest spenders (if Shopify is connected).

  • Imports — target fans imported from your CSV lists.

  • Joined dates — message fans who signed up during specific timeframes.

  • Signup type — filter by either SMS or email.

  • Shopify — engage customers based on their Shopify purchase history.

Composing the message

As you type your message, the composer shows you how many segments your message is and provides an estimate of the credits required to send it. The credit calculation dynamically adjusts based on the audience and segments.

We will automatically make it look great regardless of how the fan signed up: SMS, email and Instagram DM.

Scheduling the message

If you're planning the message to go out at a specific time, you can schedule it. Your scheduled messages will live in the composer tab and you can edit them anytime before the scheduled time.

View and download sent messages

Head to Messages and go to the Sent Messages tab to see a dashboard of stats and click-through rate for all the messages you've sent. This includes instant messages and automatic drop messages.

You can also download a CSV of your messages.
